Organic
The coffee's chocolatey, nutty flavours come from its high altitude location in the center of the Incas. This Fairtrade Organic & Soil Association-certified coffee is cultivated in the Chanchamayo Province of Peru at 1,400 metres above the sea level. Arabica Caturra and Typica varieties are grown in accordance with Washed Process standards, without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilisers.
Organic and fair trade coffee beans are picked by hand at the slopes of the Andes and then expertly roasted to give a full-bodied flavor. The nutty flavor, combined with gorgeous dark chocolate overtones are sure to make you jump out of bed in the morning, and the fact that it's a Fairtrade coffee ensures that the farmers in remote areas who cultivate it are well taken care of too.
